Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 Enterprise Processor License with Software Assurance

Enterprise
EditionMicrosoft Commerce Server 2009 Enterprise has no restrictions
on topology and site set up. It also includes the following features (which are
not included in the Standard Edition)
- Sharing of catalog and marketing campaigns across Web sites. Allows
multiple sites to share the different marketing campaigns, which can include
discounts, ads, and direct mail lists.
- Content staging. Stages all Commerce Server content before it is published
to a production site. This includes all data updates and can be
customized to include custom pages.
- Data warehousing and analytics functions. This is the analytics piece of
Commerce Server, which includes the 35 out-of-the-box reports and Online
Analytical Processing (OLAP) data cubes.
LicensingA
processor license includes access for an unlimited number of users to connect
from either inside the local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) or
outside the firewall. With a processor license, you do not need to purchase
additional server licenses, CALs, or Internet Connector Licenses. As per
Microsoft guidelines, per-processor licensing ignores how many cores are on a
processor. For example, a dual-core processor that has two cores on it is still
considered one processor for licensing purposes. This product includes
Microsoft's maintenance plan, Software Assurance (SA).
